Job functions and skills vary by position, but minimum qualifications include:

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders

• Experience with scales, calipers, and micrometers preferred

• High level of interpersonal communication skills

• Good computer skills; excel, word, ERP systems

• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment

• Manufacturing/Machining experience preferred

Physical demands:

• Use of hands, fingers, and arms to grasp, feel and reach

• Requires standing for long periods of time

• Frequently necessary to walk

• Occasional need to stoop, kneel, or crouch

• Regularly lifting and moving up to 25 Kg.

• Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus

Based in the United Kingdom, Consort Precision Diamond Company was established in 1984 by its shareholders as a manufacturing facility dedicated to the production of Rotary Diamond Dressers. In 2018 Consort became a subsidiary of U.S.-based Continental Diamond Tool Corporation, manufacturer of Diamond and CBN Grinding Wheels and Tools. Along with having complementary products, the two entities share a reputation for quality craftsmanship and commitment to excellence within their industry.
